Carolyn A. Cooney, former Chapter Services Director for AGC of America, passed away March 7, 2009. She was a beloved member of the staff, dedicated to AGC's Chapters and a valuable resource to everyone in the AGC family.
The Executive Leadership Council established the Carolyn Cooney Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship Fund, and has since raised $47,158 from AGC Chapters and individuals. In addition, AGC of America named its Employee of the Year award after Carolyn because she best exemplified the values of the AGC Team, including teamwork, customer service, initiative, commitment and integrity.
Founded in 1918 at the request of President Woodrow Wilson, AGC represents more than 33,000 member firms associated with the construction industry.
